SpotBay is a mobile app that connects people based on their location utilizing Geofencing and Location aware message technologies. SpotBay can Broadcast message, also save location and share it with contacts in the device. Broadcast is a short message that can be sent via SpotBay. SpotBay can set the duration and area for the broadcast. With its simple UI, anyone can broadcast through SpotBay just by typing in the message. The broadcast message will be available to all SpotBay users who are present in the set area for the set duration. People who receive broadcasts can engage in a private chat with the broadcaster or navigate to the source of the broadcast. The time-lapsed broadcast will be deleted from the phone automatically unless a user wishes to save it for future reference. Spot Bay app also provides real-time reports on the status of the broadcasts.SpotBay can save locations to a mobile device like a contact list. SpotBay can display and save the current location in a map. The saved locations can also be shared other Spot Bay users. For example, while you travel should you wish to save any location on a map for your future reference, SpotBay can do it for you.
